Once again, Capital Telecom was called for its outstanding quality of services and project management to implement the HMC 4.5 solution. The implementation will take place at Galaxy Backbone PLC offices, which has the official mandate to build and operate a single nation-wide IT infrastructure platform to provide network services to all Federal Government Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs). 

The key role of Capital Telecom is to help Galaxy maintaining its high quality of services and provide them with added values to better support their vision of being the leading enabler of digital inclusion in Nigeria and Africa.

Moreover the chosen solution will give Galaxy extra control to keep on managing all national databases and transversal applications and services for all Federal Government MDAs as well as providing connectivity and internet access to rural and underserved communities and third party customers.

The proposed solution includes Hosted Exchange services, Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Services, and Windows SharePoint Services Hosting.  Designed by Capital Telecom engineers, the solution is intended to support up to 7500 mailboxes, however, Hosted Messaging and Collaboration is a scalable solution. Hence, the expansion can be done by adding additional back-end and front-end servers without any changes on the provisioning logic level.
